Why Do Men Get Bored In Relationships?

Do men get bored in relationships? Of course, they do. Anyone would, given the decision is made after rational thinking. Everybody, at least once in their lives, comes to a fork in their lives where they seem to require something more than a girlfriend or boyfriend, wife or husband. Relationships lose the excitement and charm it had in the beginning, and nothing seems to work out like it used to. Before, even the slightest touch from her fingers would attract you to her. The sweet smell emitting from her flowing locks mesmerized you beyond belief. And the passion in your kisses were too hot for you to handle. But these days, that intense connection and the need to be with her every single second has somehow disappeared. How can someone go from being obsessively involved with someone, waking up the next day and finding the relationship plain boring? No guy would just decide to lose interest in the girl he’s with. What can be the reason behind this detachment?
Many a time, whenever something goes wrong in a relationship, both partners try to find reasons behind getting distant from one another. Every relationship has its own ups and downs where partners have to face challenges; hearts get broken, trust is shattered, and ill words are exchanged. Which is why, for every bump in the road, there is a valid reason behind it. So what can be the reason for a guy to become bored with his own girlfriend? Why do men get bored when in certain relationships? Are there any concrete reasons or just irrational and immature thinking is at play? Let’s find out.
It’s not women (girlfriends or wives) they get bored of. What is missing in their lives is the feeling of excitement, spontaneity, thrill, passion, and perhaps romance. Some men thrive over the constant need to find something new that will satisfy them emotionally and physically. In this case, from their current and/or future partners. When all these things run their course, the exhilaration fizzles down. In the following section, there are few common instances/reasons, which can lead to lack of interest in a relationship for a guy.
He saidShe was too easy to have. I need a challenge from a girl…
Some guys like girls who are hard to get. I guess it’s some kind of notion they have in their minds that hard-to-get girls are much more exciting to be with. Whether this thinking is true or false, if a guy has such thoughts brewing in his mind, it could lead to dissatisfaction and boredom in any relationship.
He saidI cannot take her nagging at me all the time…
All men like to stay away from women who have the tendency to nag a lot. In the beginning of the relationship, some women try to show their outgoing, carefree nature. However, if they incline towards being a controlling person, soon they end up expressing it out loud. The problem arises from frustration, it moves on to irritation, and then it quickly turns into wanting to be as far away from the person as possible.
He saidShe doesn’t want to be my girlfriend. She wants to be my WIFE…
I’ll admit it. Most women think of marriage and babies after first few dates with a guy. This can lead a couple towards serious issues. I’m not trying to say that guys don’t think about marriage, but they take their time in coming at this phase in their lives. Whether it’s a man or a woman, marriage or any other serious commitment can’t be forced upon them.
He saidMaking love to her isn’t as exciting as it used to be…
This is one of those reasons where every couple can have their own set of issues. What I mean to say here is that each individual has his/her own physical needs and it becomes important for them to fulfill those needs. Discontent and frustration can loom over any couple if these needs aren’t met.
He saidI need my space and I need it right now…
Getting intimate and too serious in a relationship can be bad for anyone. It’s natural when you feel that you wish to be with the one you love all the time, but distance is also crucial. Giving each other space so that you can miss the other person is the key to wanting to be with them. If you keep eating a particular ice cream flavor all the time and it’s accessible to you 24/7, would you be interested in eating it the next time?
He saidShe won’t let me have my own life and friends…
This sort of overlaps with “I want my own space” reason. Giving a man (and woman) his own space and having your own personal, separate life is healthy for any couple. When a man sees that a woman doesn’t require anyone to take care of her all the time, they develop a sense of respect for her. This respect is very important for a woman as the feeling also turns into intrigue and wanting to be with her even more.
There are times when some of these reasons take shape into a man cheating on his girlfriend. The key here is to spice up your love life and actually enjoy the time the two of you share with one another. Changing either one of you won’t do anyone any good. Be yourselves, keep all the cards on the table, and then decide whether the relationship is worth pursuing or not.

8 Things to see in Paris …

8 Things to see in Paris …
Paris – just the name conjures up romance, luxury and beauty. There is so much to see in the City of Lights that one could make countless visits and still discover more. Guidebooks tell you about the museums, the famous sites, where to stay and where to eat, but here are my suggestions for other things to see in paris.

1. The People

One of the most fascinating things about Paris is people-watching. When you’ve had enough of walking and seeing tourist sites, find one of the many delightful Parisian cafes. Sit down with a coffee and watch the world go by.

2. Cemeteries

cemeteries might seem like an odd thing to see in Paris, but they’re peaceful places to wander around. Everybody’s heard of the famous cemetery pere lachaise, but there are others in Paris where you can visit the great and the good, including Cimitiere Montparnasse (famous residents including serge gainsbourg).

3. Shop Windows

Paris is known for its sense of style, and the shop windows are proof of this. Whether it’s a fashion boutique or a patisserie, everything is displayed with flair, showing off the products to maximum advantage. Plus window-shopping is free!

4. Flea Markets

The most famous flea market is the one at St. Ouen, which has hundreds of antique dealers as well as stalls of the bric-a-brac variety (and lots of pickpockets, so do be careful). There are several others as well, such as porte de vanves and Marché au Puces d´Aligre – don’t miss a trip to one of them while you’re in Paris!

5. Parks

Paris has ample parks – some of them well-known, such as the jardins de luxembourg, others a little more off the beaten track. Among my favourites are the parc Montsouris, the Parc Aux Buttes-Chaumont and the Jardin des Plantes.

6. Unique Museums

There are other museums to see in Paris than the Louvre, impressive as it may be. I’ve spent some fun afternoons visiting lesser-known museums such as those dedicated to Freemasonry, forgery and the history of the police. The bonus is that they won’t be full of other tourists!

7. The Streets

In historic and beautiful cities such as Paris, one of the great pleasures is strolling around the fascinating streets. I recommend not having a fixed route in mind, but wandering down whatever street takes your fancy. If you see something that looks interesting, go and examine it more closely. Who knows what you might come across – an amazing restaurant or intriguing shop

8. The Views

It’s said that the best thing about the Tour Montparnasse is that if you’re in it, you don’t have to look at it! It’s worth going up one of the tall buildings to get the best views of Paris. If you don’t fancy the queues at the Tour Eiffel, head up to Sacre Coeur and Montmartre, where you’ll still see some wonderful vistas.
If you’re planning a trip to Paris, then these ideas show some of the wonderful things to see in paris. If you’re not planning a trip, then you definitely should, it’s amazing! What would you want to see in Paris – and if you have visited, what did you most enjoy?

10 Things Not to Wear When Traveling …

10 Things Not to Wear When Traveling …
What not to wear when traveling is a decision on a par with worrying about whether to wear trousers or a skirt when you meet your in laws for the first time! Packing is bad enough without having to worry about making an embarrassing Fashion blunder in a foreign country. Whilst making your luggage decisions and thinking about what not to wear when traveling, you should be asking such questions as ‘Is it stylish as well as functional?’, Will I be able to wear this wherever I want to go?’ and without sounding like your mother ‘Will it crease?’ To help in your dilemma I’ve put together a few tips of what to leave out of the suitcase if you want to return home with your dignity intact. Here are 10 Things Not to Wear When Traveling:

1. Fanny Pack

Even though designed for wear when traveling, the fanny pack has got to be one of the biggest fashion blunders to ever have been made on planet earth; don’t get sucked into the practicalities of this horrible item, if you really need to have both hands free at all times, try a small cross body bag, money belt or small backpack.

2. Sandals with Socks

Somebody once told me that the only excuse for wearing socks with sandals is to warm your feet up on a plane. I disagree, there is no excuse whatsoever for wearing socks and sandals together, it’s much better to wear shoes and risk your feet getting hot than being sniggered at all the way through passport control.

3. Stilettos

You may be tempted to pop a pair of stilettos into your luggage but the space they take up in your bag combined with the discomfort they cause and a lack of versatility is enough for them to go on my list of what not to wear when traveling.

4. Short Shorts

Short shorts are one of those garments that are perfectly acceptable and appropriate, in certain places. Wear them on the beach by all means but not around town and definitely not if your list of things to see includes cathedrals or churches. It is important to be respectful of another country’s customs when considering what to wear when traveling.

5. All-white Sneakers

Not only is the stylishness of all white sneakers up for debate, they also show every single piece of dirt. Unless you intend to take a white shoe cleaning kit wherever you go put them bang on your list of what not to wear when traveling. Not only are darker colors more flattering, they are more practical and will hide the dirt!

6. Studs

Accessories that are full of studs may be fashionable but they will prove to be inconvenient at airports and other buildings that have metal detectors. They also add weight to your luggage so best avoided if you struggle with baggage allowances. Put studded accessories and garments on your list of what not to wear when traveling and opt for simpler, plainer designs.

7. Zip off Pants

Convertible pants that have zips at the knee are one of those garments that are a good idea in theory but somehow the reality gets lost in translation and they just look naff. It’s a much better idea to make sure you have clothes that you can layer to deal with unpredictable climates.

8. Camouflage

I have never liked camouflage prints and they are my personal inclusion on this list of what not to wear when traveling. Unless you are on duty in the armed forces, the full head to toe camouflage look is distinctly dodgy in most situations. By all means wear camo pants with a plain coordinating colored top; the rugged look will still be there but you won’t be running the risk of being mistaken for action man’s kid sister.

9. Crocs

Crocs were designed as a boat shoe and they are also an innovative design for gardening, but unless you intend to sail or pull some weeds whilst on vacation, leave your crocs at home. Apart from all the room they will take up in your bag, they are far too chunky to ever be flattering. There are better beach shoes available.

10. Speedos

There aren’t many men over the age of about 15 that look good in skimpy swimming briefs so unless you intend him to enter a high level competition, make sure your man leaves his Speedos at home. Men look much better in a cool pair of board shorts; they are also culturally acceptable wherever you happen to be in the world.
So that’s my list of 10 Things not to wear when traveling. I’m sure you will have your own ideas to add to it and I’d love to hear them. None of us want our fashion blunders to spoil the real tourist attraction that we are visiting so it’s just about having a bit of thought and being sensible about what not to wear when traveling.
